Brexit must put consumers first

Which? has a simple goal when it comes to Brexit: we want the government to put consumers first.

That's why we've introduced our Consumer Charter for Brexit. It sets out what needs to happen to both minimise the risks and maximise the opportunities so as to deliver a better environment for consumers.

We want to work with the Government and businesses to deliver this. Our Charter sets out four consumer tests to measure the outcomes:

  1. Standards that are as high as today, if not higher
  2. More choice of high quality products and services
  3. Continued rights to protect us when things go wrong
  4. No unnecessary price rises or cost-of-living increases.
